Fake Irs Email will steal your Identiy

My name is Albert with Corey & Associates Tax Accounts. We have been preparing tax returns for our clients since 1985. In this article we are going to show how a spot a fake I.R.S. email. We will also show how the Internal Revenue Service sends out their correspondence.

Fake I.R.S email is send most of the time in a specific style that one should get accustoms to see. They look so real that at first glance one is tempted to open it. I had at least 5 clients came in and asked me about it. One client opened it up and that when his problems started. They told me virus was so nasty that it almost force them to purchase a new computer. If you do a print out you will never know it is fake email. A client brought me a print out and it look so real. I figured it out when carefully examining the email and discovered the flaws. It looks so real.

Criminals will pry on the Internal Revenues intimidation of the tax payers. Most tax payers who come with I.R.S. letters in my office are so nervous. This is how they get you to open the email.

In over 25 years of preparing tax returns, I have never seen a place on a tax return that asked for a email address. Internal Revenue Service has never asked for the email address whenever you called the agency .

The crook who is trying to steal your information will pry on you to achieve one of their two goals. One of their objectives is to put a bad virus on your computer. Their other goal is to put a bug in your computer to steal your Identity.

To spot the fake email just look in the from section and it will have irs. in lower case letters. The tax agency never has anything in lower letters. The other way to spot the fake is also in the from section because it will have some strange name in front of Irs. Do not just look at the from line and think person who is sending the email is from the tax agency.. If you click on it will open and see the weird name is another give away.

Internal Revenue never sends email out to the tax payers is the biggest way to spot the fake email. “They still send all corresponds the old fashion way, by the United States Post office.. They never ask for any personal information in the letters,” said Micheal Devain in the St Louis Post Dispatch on April 10, 2011.
